Velvet Delivers First

Boy were we fooled. Based on the udder size alone, we figured Rosie was going to be the first to deliver, but instead Velvet delivered her calf the next day. We walked out the next morning and there with Velvet was her new baby calf. We figured the little girl was born sometime around 7am. Currently named V1F for “Velvet 1st Female”, we have joked about naming her Elvis for “Velvet Elvis”
