Refund and Return Policy

Overview

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase from Crow About Farms. This Refund & Return Policy explains our practices for refunds, returns, and exchanges of both perishable and non-perishable products sold through our website and at our physical locations in Texas, including farmer's markets.

By placing an order, you agree to the terms of this policy.

Definitions

  • Perishable Items: Products with limited shelf life, such as fresh produce, dairy, eggs, meat, baked goods, cut flowers, and items that can spoil.

  • Non-Perishable Items: Long-shelf-life products such as honey, jams, dried goods, soaps, crafts, and other items not subject to spoilage under normal conditions.

Order Cancellation

You may request to cancel your order before it has been processed or shipped by contacting us at troy@crowaboutfarms.com.

If your order has already shipped or is ready for pickup, cancellation may not be possible, and the terms in the Perishable and Non-Perishable sections will apply.

Perishable Items – Refunds Only

Perishable items are eligible for refunds only and not eligible for returns because of their nature.

 

Eligibility Conditions:

  • You must report issues within 24 hours of delivery or pickup.

  • Acceptable issues include:

    • Spoiled on arrival

    • Wrong product delivered

    • Significant quality concerns

 

How to Report:

  • Email: troy@crowaboutfarms.com

  • Include: Photo of item, order number, date/time of delivery or pickup, and a brief description of the issue.

 

Resolution: After verification, we will issue a refund to your original payment method within 3–7 business days.

Non-Perishable Items – Returns & Refunds

Return Window: 30 days from the date of delivery or pick-up.

 

Requirements:

  • Items must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging.

  • Proof of purchase required (order number, receipt, or invoice).

 

Process:

  1. Contact us at troy@crowaboutfarms.com with your order number and reason for return.

  2. Once approved, return the item back at your expense (unless defective).

  3. Refunds will be issued within 7–10 business days of receiving the returned item.

 

Refund Method: Refunds are credited to the original payment method.

Exchanges: Allowed when available — contact us to arrange.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective product (perishable or non-perishable), contact us immediately with photos and order details.

 

We will offer replacement or refund​ at our discretion and based on availability.

Other Terms

Online processing fees may be refunded depending on the payment processing method used at checkout.

Delivery fees are non-refundable.  If a refund is issued, the original delivery fee will not be included unless the return is due to our error.

If the order included sales tax, tax will be refunded along with the product refund in accordance with Texas state tax rules, unless otherwise required by law.
