New Catch Pen

With our two cows now providing milk, we needed some way to get them into a head gate so we could easily milk them.

We purchased this from the fine folks at Big Country Livestock Equipment in Rising Star, Texas. They do great work and can custom configure whatever type of enclosure and gate system you need (I sound like a commercial)

Shown above with the rebuilt head gate that was already on the property. Hopefully the cows will eventually learn to come to the pen on their own in the mornings, but we will will if that actually happens.
